Palavela OnIce: from 6 October 2023 to 29 March 2024

To the delight of the many ice skating lovers, the Palavela ice rink reopens to the public for the 2023-24 season!
The Olympic Track which saw the exploits of the greatest champions of this sport in the new millennium, unanimously considered the most beautiful track in Italy, will be accessible to all again from October 6th.
The Palavela On Ice confirms itself as an unmissable point of reference for fans of ice entertainment in Turin, a meeting place to skate freely with friends and family, to learn the basics or improve in the practice of this magical sport, but also to participate to always different and engaging events and shows, family parties and DJ sets.

A tu per tu con Leonardo - Biblioteca Reale - from 28 March 2024 - 30 June 2024

The exhibition presents over 60 works, of which 15 are original by Leonardo, among which 6 sheets of the Atlantic Codex made in France, in the period in which he was drawing his famous Self-Portrait, stand out.
The exhibition, enriched by numerous loans from public and private collections, presents original testimonies of the artist and inventor's activity in the last years of his life. The itinerary is completed by a wide selection of paintings, drawings, engravings, intaglio matrices and photolithographs which document the fortune of the famous Turin drawing and the face of the Genius from the sixteenth to the twentieth century.

Through around a hundred works, the exhibition at Palazzo Madama recounts the peculiar role of Turin in the affirmation of the Liberty style, an art which in the Savoy capital becomes the fulcrum of a history which overwhelms every aspect of life and society, defining a architectural and artistic experience that from Turin's suggestions will spread throughout the world.

TIM BURTON TORINOMuseo del Cinema: THE WORLD OF TIM BURTON: from 11 October 2023 to 7 April 2024

The exhibition that the National Cinema Museum of Turin is dedicated to the creative genius of Tim Burton, conceived and co-curated by Jenny He in collaboration with Tim Burton and adapted by Domenico De Gaetano for the National Cinema Museum. For the first time in Italy, the exhibition will be set up at the Mole Antonelliana, it will be inaugurated on 10 October with the director's award ceremony with La Stella della Mole and with a masterclass conducted by Piera Detassis. and from 11 October 2023 to 7 April 2024 it will be open to the public.

The new museum was born as a meeting place between past and future and opened to people with a large agora and an imposing staircase that will also become a place for socializing and will lead visitors to the underground exhibition spaces intended for exhibitions. The new museum is a unique space in the city, entirely dedicated to photography and video art, which here express, in addition to the aesthetic value linked to the image, the commitment to address contemporary themes.

Palazzo Carignano: Extraordinary opening of the Apartments of the Princes 

Until December 2023, guided tours of Palazzo Carignano are scheduled every day. In addition to the usual visit itinerary, the Midnight Apartment is also accessible, usually closed to the public as it is the seat of the offices of the Regional Museum Directorate, where it is possible to admire some of the rooms frescoed at the end of the seventeenth century by the Lombard painter Stefano Maria Legnani, known as Legnanino, together with his workshop.

On the first Sunday of the month, as part of the Domenicalmuseo initiative, admission to the Apartments of the Princes will be free (with a ticket) and allowed with a free visit.
